Description DL-Methionine is an essential amino acid containing sulfur with oxidative stress defense effects. DL-Methionine can be used for animal natural feed. DL-Methionine also kills H. rostochiensis on potato plants[1][2][3].
Target H. rostochiensis[1]
In Vitro DL-methionine significantly decreases the numbers of males, females, cysts and eggs of H. rostochiensis on potato plants. DL-methionine kills almost all the nematodes when applied 3 days after inoculation, and DL-methionine does not affect plant growth adversely[1].

Product Description
DL-Methionine is a sulfur-containing essential amino acid that plays a critical role in protein synthesis and many other physiological processes in the body. It is an essential nutrient that cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained through the diet or dietary supplements.
As a chemical product, DL-Methionine is widely used in various industrial applications, including the production of animal feed, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products. It is also used as a building block in the synthesis of various chemicals, including flavors, fragrances, and surfactants.
In the food industry, DL-Methionine is used as a food additive and dietary supplement. It is commonly used in the production of animal feed and is added to poultry and swine diets to improve growth rates and feed efficiency. It is also used as a dietary supplement for humans, particularly for athletes and bodybuilders who are looking to support muscle growth and recovery.
DL-Methionine is typically produced through chemical synthesis or fermentation of natural sources, such as corn and soy.
The benefits of using DL-Methionine as a dietary supplement and food additive include its ability to support muscle growth and recovery, improve growth rates and feed efficiency in animals, and potentially improve liver function. DL-Methionine has also been shown to have antioxidant properties and may help to protect against oxidative damage.
However, as with any dietary supplement or food additive, it is important to use DL-Methionine in moderation and under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Overuse of DL-Methionine or consumption of high doses can lead to adverse health effects.
Overall, DL-Methionine is an important and versatile ingredient in both the chemical and food industries. Its ability to support muscle growth and recovery, improve growth rates and feed efficiency in animals, and potentially improve liver function make it a valuable addition to many different types of products, from animal feed to dietary supplements and food additives.
